after reading posts stating the possible over-simplicity of bessler's design, i am compelled to share a dream i had that may, or may not, be connected with such a phenomenon: i was standing on a beach watching a sailing ship of sorts. it was approaching a draw bridge. the mast was very tall, and if the vessel wanted to cross under the bridge, the bridge would have to be raised. however, the ship got very close and the bridge did not move. the next thing that happened astonished me. the ship passed, mast intact, and sailed on the other side happily on its way. the most interesting thing was not the fact that i witnessed such a bizarre occurance, but i understood exactly how it was able to accomplish the impossible task at that time in my dream. i woke up and thought "damn! that was so cool! and so simple!" but the more i thought about it, the less i remembered. the vision eluded me, and i have pondered it to the point of giving up. so what's the moral? i dunno. maybe certain things aren't yet supposed to exist in the "real" world at the time of their discovery. it might take a while before the actual need for a universe energy harnessing wheel becomes necessary for the ever changing magic of earth's design to continue. yawn. it's 1:30 a.m. go buy amon tobin's new album "out from out where". it's amazing.
