In the scope of my thinking, the drive from the axle(say lifting a weight on a rope)would be smooth, it is the outer visible casing(from wich no drive is taken)that is backing or slowing imperceptibly during rotation, but then I am probably completely wrong! I can't even decide if I should hang my weights from the outer rim or inner grindstone now.....lol
You have years of research on me.......
