Hi folks,
I had to realize ... *dang* he already did it. And exactly the way I imagened it. I'm talking about the hydraulic wheel design. But i have to say .. compared to Bessler's sketch my one makes much more sense *laugh*
That brings me to a totally different subject .. copyright ...
As i understood there is copyright on the Bessler design sketches. Whom does it belong to? I know that you cant just copyright everything and that some even run out after a specified time limit.
For example the hydraulic wheel desing of mine. Now . .realizing that it nealry 100% equals one design (just mine is much more detailed) of Bessler .. did i breach copyright???
Can I copyright the sketch of a falling object .. claiming that from this day on it shall not to be allowed showing pictures of falling objects anymore?
I don't think so, I know there are rules about this sort of stuff. Is there a lawyer out there who could give us some insight? Otherwise each of us ... no matter what he designs will run into Bessler's copyright trap, not allowed to share his ideas.
He had such an amount of ideas...i will say it is nearly impossible NOT to copy one of them in a way. I remember the ones that have been on the Orfyrre page ... some of them make really sense to me, i can imagine them in 3D good enough to model them here on my CAD station. Even more detailed as shown there .. the 2d flat sketches leave some things untold as i realized.
Thats all for now,
Have fun,
Rainer
