: Hi Darren,
Hey!
: How's your design going? I should think you and the guy's would have a pretty good fix on it by now?
Hmm... well, I guess I would have to say it's going something like this...
Person 1 has limited mechanics/physics background so follows the logic and hasn't been able to find and error, but isn't totally sure. On the fence I'd say.
Person 2 doubts that it will work, but the doubt is not based on any math errors or missing formulas or anything, just has a bad feeling about it. My guess is that they'd vote no at this point if pressed.
Person 3 is kind of on the other side of the fence... skeptical and careful, but also hasn't found any errors and so is leaning towards it working. Probably a yes vote.
And of course I say it will work :-)
I expect to get a concensus from the group sometime later this week. I am a night or two away from finishing a full sim in WM2D that will, in my opinion, either show it working or else help me to see any grave error.
After I finish and share that sim with the group I'm probably going to "call a vote"... if it's yay then it gets built, if it's nay then it don't :-) At this point I'm like 80-90% sure it will be yay (barring any big errors found in the full sim).
Thanks!
Darren
