I have read that centrifugal force is related to gravity in the same way that magnetism is related to electricity. Just as an electric current will cause a magnetic force, so a "mass" current will cause an "inertial force", which is what centrifugal force is. Physicists say that inertia is really the result of acceleration in relation to all of the other matter in the universe.
Well, that is what I have heard, anyway. I won't pretent to know what I am talking about here, because I'm not a physicist. It is interesting that most physicsts agree that today's science doesn't understant gravity or inertia beyond a mere decription of how matter seems to interact with it. Science does not understand the CAUSE of gravity or inertia.
Thus, it seems that there is a lot of room here for unexplained effects that current science has not yet discovered.
