Nearly forgot ....
most digicams have also the option to take short AVI movie clips ... couple of seconds, depending on the memory size. Even some of the cheap ones ($50 range) can do so .. ok, don't expect HiRes .... If you just want to document a couple of seconds this might be good enough .. no need to buy more expensive extension cards.
Hope this helps, Cheers,
Rainer
: Hi Grim :o)
: 1st you need to digitize the video .. if you are lucky your gfx card might have a video input, otherwise you need an extension card wich is able to do so. Some of the cheap TV cards have video input too ... AND YOU CAN WATCH TV ;o)
: 2nd you need some sort of video editing software .. go to www.download.com to grap some share/freeware. Also most of the common pc-magazine disc include them.
: ... now you are making me really curious :)
