Thanks for the link. I am a fan of lighter-than-air/ships. Descriptions of pre WW1 dirigibles going for afternoon cruises with the windows open and a picnic lunch on board sounds like it was a delightful experience for the times. Too bad the hydrogen factor scuttled ambition along these lines. If I remember correctly, one of these docile giants in the early part of the 20th century (not of German origin, not Dumas of Brazil? either-may have been an American) had an unusual propulsion system that I remember thinking "What the heck is going on here?". It was so long ago that I read it that I don't really remember the details. Some old magazine I found. It may have been some type of vortex phenomenon....John
