This was made while recovering from the fall, using junkbox parts.
The real thing uses oillite for the central pin bearing, 1" X 1/4" steel for the link, stem, etc, and
the wooden toy wheel is an open greaseless roller bearing. The three pounds of lead shown here are replaced by
a 2 1/2 pound barbell weight.
One can observe, by imagining the axle in between the two pics, the described "unicycle man" problem.
