Hi Jonathan,
Sure, I can convert a bitmap to a gif. The only problem is that bitmaps tend to have huge file sizes, and email attachments aren't very reliable over about 5 Mb. If it's 5 Mb or less, send it on over...
Thanks,
Scott
: First, my update is that I think I've had a breakthrough that'll simplify gear construction, but it requires a little theoretical experimenting before I know if it's worthwhile. The question: How big of a picture can I post? I see it says .gif or .jpg, is there no way for me to use .bmp? I have a digital camera, but I don't want to use it if I don't have to, it would be easier for me to post a picture I drew in paint than to draw on paper and take a picture of it. I heard you can convert .bmp to .jpg, but I don't know how, do you? Oh yeah, Michael: Can you describe the device for me, so that if mine is the same I don't waste my time? Thanks all.
