Hi,
How about the obvious (no pun intended) that they are just arrows pointing towards the inner circle, which looks like a rimmed wheel?
: I think what John is saying is that the drawing does not illustrate simple pie-sections, with true radial sectioning from the circle centre point. Rather the pie sections converge at either the inner circle (white sections) or at a point beyond the main circle centre (dark sections). IMO, Bessler illustrated something quite specific here, something other that a simple sectioned circle.
: I've measured the white pie sections at about 25.5 deg and the dark pie sections, when extrapolated, at about 94.5 deg.

: : Not quite sure what you mean, or how your viewing it John because the angles terminate at the proper places given they arrows end at the circle. If you draw a line from the center of the angle it then would cut through the center. Nothing mysterious here.

: : : : Hi John;
: : : : I am re-reading your book a second time and noticed that you describe the " do you still not understand?" drawing as having white sections of 30 degrees and the black sections of 90 degrees; whereas I previously thought it was partioned into 22.5 degrees and 97.5 degree section. Can you confirm this detail if possible?

: : : : : I noticed that someone mentioned that they had not read my book and were not therefore in full possession of all of the facts, so I apologise for promoting it here, but if anyone wants a copy in PDF format they can get it from my web site for a miniscule fee. It has all the information gathered up until 1997. My web site is at www.free-energy.co.uk
