Scott, thanks for the reply by mail when difficulties in posting occurred.
Per your request I'm posting what I wrote to you.
I've had some marked success so far in taking what needs to be done to keep
a wheel topheavy and frontheavy, then using parts illustrated and
found in J.B.'s drawings that pertain to what is needed for such
operation. The model was constructed using the diameter to weight
ratios for the bi-directional wheel. This model is one-directional, but it
but it used the w-s ratio of the bidirectional machine. I would like to know
the w-s proportions of the uni-directional machine to check my w-s
ratios, may be able to lighten the model a bit.
If this works out as expected, I have no intentions of patenting
the device for the simple reason that J.B. made the machine and put
all the parts in the three cryptic drawings. I am attempting to
reassemble using his part designs, therefore if successful the
machine design will be free since it is not my design but that of J.B>
When proto is completed info will be posted for all to see.
