Hi Grim,
All the information I know about the various wheels is posted in my Timeline section. There were quite a few one-directional wheels. I've never seen much information about the weights of the wheels. I don't believe Bessler ever allowed them to weighed, so it is all speculation. Most eyewitnesses reported a light construction. John Collins speculates that the largest wheel could have weighed as much as 500 pounds, based on the fact that two men lifted it on their shoulders.

: Scott, thanks for the reply by mail when difficulties in posting occurred.
: Per your request I'm posting what I wrote to you.
: I've had some marked success so far in taking what needs to be done to keep
: a wheel topheavy and frontheavy, then using parts illustrated and
: found in J.B.'s drawings that pertain to what is needed for such
: operation. The model was constructed using the diameter to weight
: ratios for the bi-directional wheel. This model is one-directional, but it
: but it used the w-s ratio of the bidirectional machine. I would like to know
: the w-s proportions of the uni-directional machine to check my w-s
: ratios, may be able to lighten the model a bit.
: If this works out as expected, I have no intentions of patenting
: the device for the simple reason that J.B. made the machine and put
: all the parts in the three cryptic drawings. I am attempting to
: reassemble using his part designs, therefore if successful the
: machine design will be free since it is not my design but that of J.B>
: When proto is completed info will be posted for all to see.
: He did not lie, all parts are in the three drawings.
