Hi Michael
I have also been researching alchemy, astrology, the Bible etc to try and shed some light on the Apologia clues. I find it fascinating and have found some interesting information. While you're on the subject of the "peacock's tail" as mentioned in Apologia Poetica I thought I would post something I found out. The "peacock's tail" is the name given to a process or phase in alchemy in which many colours appear and is also symbolised by a rainbow. Click here for further information, or click here for a list of other possible sources of info. I'm not sure if there is any relevance to this, but every bit of info helps.
All the best
Stewart
